Good: customer service is friendly
Bad: technical service basically useless
Do not buy, extremely unreliable software. Constantly having to delete to connect to internet and set it all up again, didn't matter OS or hardware. Wasted a lot of time on tech's walking in circles. No responsibility taken on their end "So far, your specific case is completely closed, we have no reports of such behavior." Their reply below is exactly the problem with this company, I did troubleshoot it, exactly as described by the 3rd agent I spoke with, app had no diagnostic information available. I have the screen shot of the entire conversation. Dont blame me for your problems.
Scam like terms and conditions. Entice customers with initial 30 days free however make cancelation overly contrived and difficult to ensure they take as much money as possible. Services where poor and low. Would not recommend this service to anyone.

The VPN service was good. But now it has begun to be quite flakey. Why do you lock the connection so one can not log off - disconnect the network - and connect and then re-login to the VPN. It used to work seamless. Now WIN10 Pro users actually has to BOOT if - for any reason the internet connection was disconnected. NordVPN seems to be locked onto a specific session token - and can't handle it. I would like this issue fixed, please.
It was a good service, the marketing spamming was the main reason for not renewing, plus the adblocker only 'kindof' worked on laptops, not at all existent with app on android.
Never had streaming issues across any continent including .AU (Aussy links from U.K is a challenge for other VPN providers) , customer service engineers we're o.k although you could only open tickets for an issue, and first replies were always as bad as the scripted Dell responses.
Would I return as a customer -Likely Yes, but:
1. I fell in love with the user interface design of SurfShark and CyberGhost so they would turn my head to try again more than Nord.
2. Just need to get the taste of spam out of my brain although it's actually been quite a few months I need a goood few years.

customer success team is refusing to delete account (q- the monty python song "spam-spam-spam-spam" because thats now what I think when i think NORD). Will raise star rating once the request is complete. (ID #8217412)

After reducing rating from 3 to 1 star, and needing to confirm 2 more times via email which included the original receipt - then and ONLY then was my 'delete account request agreed.
NORD has been THE most difficult service to leave and have my account deleted...for this reason I can't raise the star rating when others have never been this shady.

NordVPN is the best.
Horrible customer service. Service itself is not great for my needs (to watch sport games). If you are in black out area you cannot switch to different IP based off another area - NordVPN assigns best available IP which is still too close to your area and hence the game is still blocked. Picking IP from another County means delays and lagging not to mention Amazon Fire Stick log you out if you are watching through it.
Do NOT USE your credit cards with NordVPN. They will keep charging it - do card for 1 time payment only. The reason is NordVPN made it very hard to cancel autorenewal! You do it on their website and you are being asked multiple times if you are sure. After you are done you are under impression you are good to go, however it's not the case! You supposed to receive an email asking to confirm cancellation one more time however this email is so unreliable -you might never get it because it almost always goes to spam folder so your cancellation request won't be finalized. Customer service can care less even if they see your attempt to cancel the service and never received email to finalize the request.
Stay away - look for other option and there are better ones!
I live in a country where VPN service is banned and internet heavily monitored. It's a pain to even manage to download the apps themselves. Nord VPN is by far the best one I tried without a doubt. Performance and customer service are my favorite things about it. Highly recommend it!
Although NordVPN wasn't the fit for me, when I went to receive a refund for the service, I had a live chat with Brian. He was very helpful, answered all of my questions, and solved my issue.
I bought the VPN yearly package from them and almost all the ips which I used were already backlisted and were not working on many websites,I only used the vpn for 2 hours max and I chatted with an agent for almost an hour to fund a solution when I could not I asked the for a refund and I did not get a full refund! they gave me a partial refund and did not give me a full refund! avoid them at all costs! just 5 mins ago I was chatting with them and asking them why they gave me a partial refund but they didn't agree to it even after I provided them the screenshot of my bank transaction. They are modern day robbers who provide low quality services and when asked for a refund they don't even fully provide that even when their TOS says they do provide refunds
The other reviews that say Nord has horrible customer service are absolutely correct. This company does not value their customers at all and does not believe you when you have a problem.
Also beware, they will keep charging you even after you cancel your auto-renewal subscription (and will not offer a refund).
I have never had such a horrible experience with other services before and I am honestly in shock.
I´ve purchased the 12 Months subscription package deal from NORD VPN because of some
Advertise clips on Youtube. If you buy a product, regardless what kind of, and realize that there is something wrong with it, what would you do?... of course; contact the customer Service, cause the FAQ list is never satisfied at al...
A company who blame the customer first after you confront them with the ERRORS of their bad designed Software, is just not worth any discussion.
There was not a single week during my 12 month subscription where the Servers of some country´s ( Taiwan, Korea, Czech, Canada just to name a few...) where not overloaded and not capable of handling any more customers ( please try another country, or come back later...)... really?
Come back later? Is that a joke? Not to mention constant system crashes, almost every single Day, funny fact besides all my other Programs include my OSX is running fine, Nord VPN ist the only one who causes contantly crashes, why is that? Well it is just bad designed that is why, contact the Customer Service is a waste of time and not worth the effort, after you gave them your Credit Card Number the Service is gone, by by customer... now that we have your Money we don´t need to hear from you anymore...
Even after i´ve canceled my membershipwith them, they just keep spamming me with dumb new discount offers for a new subscription contract... that is what i call " Total Ignorance "
